I don't pay models. As a rule they come to me for testing with the understanding that they will get prints of whatever I like well enough to print. Sometimes what I like won't be of much use to the models in getting the fashion work most of them want.

They know this coming into the shoot. I'm a stubborn, crusty old guy and I'll print what I damned well please. I guess. Well, not exactly. Sometimes I tend toward the more acceptable fashion pictures because I know they want them. But as a rule, they aren't interesting.
